Garavogue Poppers -- New Food Find

Today while in Loblaws Superstore (Scarborough Towne Centre) I came across a sample table with these ...

They are called Poppers or Garavogue Poppers which are made in store. Their ingredients are wheat flour, rice flour, and 100% soy bean oil. Their nutritional information is as follows:

Per Popper
Calories: 15
Fat: 0.1 g
Sodium: 0 mg
Cholesterol: 0 mg
Carbohydrate: 4 g
Sugars: 0 g
Dietary Fibre: 0 g
Protein: 0.5 g

You get 2 Poppers for 1 Points+!!! They are like a huge Popchip without seasoning!! I believe they are being made and sold at Loblaws, Longos, and Sobeys! I cannot wait to eat these with hummus, cream cheese, sugar & cinnamon, etc. There are so many options!! I believe I paid $2.99 and you get more than 12 per bag!

If you find these Poppers let me know where and what you are eating them with :)

Okay well I'm off to relax, my body is aching due to the crazy thunderstorm that just started maybe 10 minutes ago!!

Take Care,
Crystal

YUM! These sound great. I wish I had one of those stores in my area. I will definitely keep my eye out for them though. Happy 4th!

I also came across these at my Superstore by Steeles and Dufferin. At first I walked right past them thinking they were fried. Then I heard the POP! The machine was flinging these disc shaped things out. Turns out, these are super healthy and you can also try them with the PC Chipolte Spinach Dip. Spicy kick and so good!

Cool - I haven't seen those poppers before!

We had a major storm too, and our car got hail damage :-(

I recently discovered poppers at the Loblaws Market at Munulife Centre in Toronto. I spray them with olive oil flavored Pam and then sprinkle with a bit of Kernels popcorn topping...delicious!

Yeah, I found theses at my Superstore at Don Mills & Eglinton, I had it with homemade hummus so far and I also eat it plain. They are great if you are looking for a light snack.
